Hluboká nad Vltavou fairytale castle

I was thinking about the place I'd tell you about at first. And Hluboká nad Vltavou came up on my mind immediately. I've visit it every year with my sister since I was seven. Why do we still come back? We feel there like two princess, the place is so fairytale.

The castle was built in 13th century in a gothic style, but it was rebuilt in 1563 and it got its rennaisance shape. The last owners Schwarzenbergs lost the castle in 1947. Now it is a property of Národní památkový ústav (organisation who takes care about some sights in Czech Republic).

Hluboká is placed cca 150 km from Prague by car near town České Budějovice.

There are four routes you can join: basic route, private rooms, chateau kitchen and representation rooms. Every route could be chosen with english guide. Moreover, you can come on tower, where an amazing view is waiting for you! I recommend you to visit representation rooms which I like the most. For prices, open hours visit official web page HERE.

You can spend few hours (!) just walking around the castle, there are beautiful green parks, trees, water... You can just chill and enjoy the atmosphere.

I was talking about the tower, I could tell you so many reasons, why you should go there, but I think photos will realiably persuade you. I was just staring down, when I opened the door a I saw all that breathtaking beauty under me.
Firstly you take a stairs as cool as the whole castle.

And there you are! Isn't it gorgeous?

Hluboká nad Vltavou is one of the most popular castles in Czechia. About 250k people spend there their time every year! So I think you have to be one of them!
